Picture of Naomi Kutin - from her Facebook page

The picture above (which comes from her FB page) is of the new world record holder for squatting in the women’s 97 pound division. Earlier this year, Naomi Kutin broke the world record in her division (previously held by a 44-year-old European woman) by squatting 215 pounds. That is pretty impressive considering that it is well over twice her body weight.

What does she have to say about it? “It’s great being stronger than everyone I know.”

What do we have to say about it? Way to go girl, that is awesome!

Being strong means being able and capable of rising to the physical challenges that life throws at you. It does not necessarily mean looking like the Hulk (see above) or spending all day in the gym.

So, are you stronger than a fifth grader?
