Chive & Feta Egg Custard

 

This is a super easy brunch dish for Sundays like this…

 

Ingredients

  • ~3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • ~1 cup crumbled feta
  • 8 eggss
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ~1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • salt & pepper

 

Preparation

  1. Grease a 9X9X2 glass or ceramic baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle feta in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Blend eggs, milk, nutmeg and salt & pepper, then pour over feta and sprinkle chives on top.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until the custard puffs and the top sets and gets slightly golden.
